Investors arguably face twin asset bubbles in equities and bonds following decades of stimulative monetary and fiscal policy that have camouflaged the dangers of excess bullish sentiment. The ongoing COVID pandemic and renewed fears of inflation are just two of the many risks. When this is combined with the fact asset owners are developing more integrated approaches such as total portfolio management to maximise their investment opportunity sets, the role of alternatives and absolute returns strategies needs to be explored. While the recent introduction of the controversial Your Future, Your Super (YFYS) performance test represents a further challenge to the uptake of alternatives, this event proposes there is a pathway forward for alternatives and it will look at the challenges and solutions for investors.
Suitable for heads of alternatives, portfolio managers, CIOs and asset consultants.

Thanks for a great and engaging event, where politics were able to be left to one side in the pursuit of a common solution.
