AMP gets James Packer for FEAL dinner

With the help of AMP Capital Investors, the Fund Executives Association Ltd (FEAL) has secured PBL chairman James Packer as its speaker for the annual dinner next month.

AMP, which sponsors the Fund Executive of the Year Award to be presented at the dinner, sought Packer on behalf of the association to discuss the theme of leadership, as it did last year. Michael Baldwin, FEAL chief executive, said he was very excited by the news and grateful for AMP’s input. “But I think I’ll be nervous right until the time I see him walk through the door,” he added. The annual dinner, to be held on August 9 in Sydney, is open only to FEAL members and sponsors. The one-day conference, open to all industry participants, is the following day.
