SuperRatings expands fund awards dinner

SuperRatings’ ‘Fund of the Year’ dinner, to be held prior to the ASFA conference in Perth, has been expanded to accommodate another 50 delegates, following the sell-out of the first 250 places.

The winners of three categories for super funds – ‘Fund of the Year’, ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Best New Product’ – will be announced at the dinner, on November 14. The nominations have been drawn from a review of 246 super fund divisions. The additional tickets to the dinner will be made available on a “first-come-first-served basis”. Jeff Bresnahan, SuperRatings’ managing director, said: “We are thrilled that this event, which is now in its fourth year, continues to be seen as the pinnacle of superannuation awards. We work hard on making the night both entertaining for all attendees and rewarding for those funds fortunate enough to be nominated and/or successful in receiving our prestigious awards”. ASFA is also expecting a strong attendance in Perth, notwithstanding the distance from the more populous states. Last year’s ASFA, in Melbourne, attracted a record of about 1,700 attendees. While registrations for this year are still open, the main conference dinner, on November 16, is already sold out.
