Portfolio administration provider, Praemium, has appointed a group marketing manager to meet an increase in sales activity in Australia and prepare for next year’s UK launch.
Renae Whiting will be responsible for global marketing, freeing up national sales manager, Warren Gibson, to focus on recent growth and development in Australia. Over the past four years, the value of investments administered by Praemium’s online portfolio administration service, V-Wrap, has grown from $100 million to over $24 billion. Arthur Naoumidis, Praemium CEO, said: “Renae brings 10 years experience in the UK and Austalian platform markets, having worked in product management with BT Wrap in Australia and since 2002 in the UK where she was involved in development of various platforms.” Praemium recently listed on the ASX in order raise funds for expansion into the UK, where it hopes to be live by next year. The group currently provides portfolio administration services for over 400 financial planning, accounting and stockbroking firms including Citigroup and Asgard.
