Watson Wyatt – wow

We all know that asset consultants like submerging themselves in detail, but head of manager research at Watson Wyatt Australia, Roz Amos, has taken things a step further and become a fully qualified dive master.

They also like to fully cover their field, which is not too much of a problem for Andy Grimes from Watson Wyatt’s Sydney office, given he represented Wales in hockey at the 1998 Commonwealth Games. The talent at Watson Wyatt Australia doesn’t run out there.

Apparently a recent Australian Idol finalist graces the manager research team, but for some reason they’re not so keen to talk about that…

‘Not an ATM’: Sicilia shrugs off private credit liquidity fears

The chief investment officer of the $150 billion industry super fund says that Hostplus’ portfolio will weather the ongoing downturn in software companies and that moves by a number of large private credit managers to gate their funds are a result of the asset class being offered to retail investors who should not have assumed the funds would be liquid enough to get money out when everybody else is trying to do the same.
