Equity Trustees moves up the Bravura ranks

Equity Trustees aims to upgrade to Bravura’s Garradin wealth management platform by next July.

The provider of mezzanine distribution to institutional funds managers started its relationship with Bravura five years ago, buying the Calibre system but always intending to upgrade, according to managing director Peter Williams. Yesterday it announced it had installed the Talisman system, an application for administering wrap platforms, master trusts, retail / wholesale unit trusts and retirement products such as superannuation plans, pensions, annuities and provident funds. Talisman sits under the umbrella of Sonata, Bravura’s enterprise-wide wealth management platform, which Equity Trustees will implement before joining the likes of Macquarie on Bravura’s more recent acquisition, Garradin, which will further integrate asset management, unit registry, fiduciary accounting and taxation.
