Milestone strengthens European management

Systems provider Milestone Group has boosted its European operation with the relocation of co-founder Phil Davies from Sydney to London and the recruitment of a managing director.

Paul Roberts, formerly the managing director of the UK business of IGEFI Group, has been appointed to the new position as Milestone’s managing director, Europe. This follows the earlier appointment of Terence Faherty as managing director, North America.

Davies will continue to have global responsibility for the company’s pControl and pQuant systems, while speeding their adaptation for European jurisdictions and languages.

“It was a natural move to be geographically closer to these markets,” he said.

Geoff Hodge, Sydney-based chief executive, said there was an increasing need by clients to leverage quality solutions across their operations to support global operating models.

Apart from Australia, Europe and the US, Milestone also has an operation in South Africa.

This means investors need to think harder about inflation and country composition in their portfolio.
