Warwick Angus, Executive Director, Computershare

Warwick has over 16 years experience in financial services working across Australia, Asia, North America and Europe. He joined Computershare in December 2002 and has overall global responsibility for Computershare’s business development and go-to-market strategies.

Since July 2007 Warwick has taken executive responsibility for the development and expansion of Computershare’s fund services operation in this region.

Before joining Computershare, Warwick spent 11 years with Ernst & Young in a range of national and global functions specialising in taxation and financial services.

Marian Azer, Principal, Mercer Sentinel

Marian is a Principal of Mercer’s investment consulting business.  She joined Mercer Sentinel in January 2006.  She is based in Sydney and consults to clients on all issues associated with valuations, custody, complex asset transitions, unit pricing, investment operations and corporate governance.

Marian has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services, funds management and superannuation industry.

Her previous roles included most recently six years at global custodian BNP Paribas Securities Services (BNP), as a Client Services Manager where she had a high profiled portfolio of industry and corporate superannuation funds, government funds, insurers, life companies and fund managers.

Marian also spent over a year as a Client Partnership Manager at Australian Administration Services (AAS) one of the largest superannuation fund administrators in Australia.  Prior to BNP and AAS, Marian worked at JPMorgan in a number of various accounting, unit pricing and transition roles.

Marian has extensive practical experience gained from roles in client services, asset transitions, superannuation administration, unit pricing, fund accounting and relationship management.  Marian’s expertise ranges across custody, investment operations, unit pricing, superannuation administration, complex transition management and outsourcing of investment operations to third party service providers.

Marian holds a Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) and is an Associate of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia.

Michael Bailey has ten years’ experience as a journalist and editor. After starting off at his local paper in western Sydney, Michael joined Investor Weekly as a cadet in 1999, and rose to become Editor by the time of his departure in 2004. After a couple of years at senior roles within commercial property and travel trade magazines, Michael returned to the industry with Investment & Technology in 2006.
