Trollip to Towers Watson

Towers Watson has bolstered its research ranks, adding Ben Trollip to its Australian fixed-income team.

Trollip will join the Australian team as an investment-research consultant focusing on manager research.

He was previously with Towers Watson-affiliate in New Zealand, actuarial consultancy Melville Jessup Weaver, where he has worked since 2004.

Graeme Miller, Towers Watson’s director of investment services, says the appointment continues the global collaborative approach that the consultancy practices.

“This appointment continues a long tradition of sharing research resources across the world which allows our clients to receive the benefit of our team’s wide-ranging global knowledge and experience,” he says.

Trollip comes from a mathematical background, having graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Auckland, specialising in mathematics and statistics.
