Alexandra is chief strategy officer – Investments at Cbus Super, an $80B all profit-to-member superannuation fund. Alexandra leads a team responsible for Cbus Investments business strategy and model, innovation, and Cbus’ portfolio of strategic investments. West brings international top tier experience in institutional investing, asset management and superannuation. Her previous experience includes roles with Fidelity Investments US in Boston; McKinsey & Company working in Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, London, San Francisco and New York; Herbert Smith Freehills; and the IFC/World Bank in Washington D.C.
West is currently a member of the UN PRI SDG Advisory Committee and is a former member of the Harvard University Menzies Scholarship Committee and director of the Harvard University Mediation Program (specialising in advanced negotiation). She holds a First Class Honours degree in Law & Arts from the University of Melbourne, and a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University, where she studied as a Menzies Scholar.
