Alvin Tan

Alvin Tan is the general manager of portfolio construction and risk (PCR) at HESTA and is responsible for supporting product development to meet member needs, leading senior discussion to form investment objectives, risk appetite and constraints, and developing investment strategy. Prior to joining HESTA in July 2018, Alvin held roles at Goldman Sachs, AllianceBernstein, Macquarie Bank and the Reserve Bank Australia.

Alvin holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) and a PhD in Econometrics from Monash University. He is a CFA Charterholder.
