Andrew Lill was appointed legalsuper’s chief investment officer in March 2025. He is responsible for leading the fund’s investment strategy, ensuring that the portfolio aligns with the fund’s objectives, risk profile, and regulatory requirements.
He previously led the investment team at Rest Super, where he was chief investment officer for almost five years. He also been the CIO at Morningstar Investment Management for its Americas division and, previous to that, for Asia Pacific. Lill has enjoyed a professional career in financial services more than 25 years holding various senior executive roles located in the UK, Australia, and the United States, managing mid-size teams of investment professionals and has success at commercialising both investment capabilities and advice solutions.
He has a Master’s in Economics from Cambridge University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
