Balraj’s primary role is conducting investment research, analysis and due diligence of fund managers and investment opportunities across the private market asset classes of property, infrastructure, private equity/venture capital and private credit. Balraj also contributes to shaping investment strategy, portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment selection and capital deployment. Prior to Hostplus, Balraj worked at investment research house Lonsec covering multiple asset classes, with primary focus on real assets. Before that he served at ANZ across various roles within the bank’s global markets, corporate banking and wealth management divisions.
