He previously ran his own financial services content business for more than a decade and, prior to that, was an experienced business journalist. He was a senior reporter covering the financial services sector at The Australian Financial Review during the global financial crisis and prior to that, covered the business sector at the Australian Associated Press. He is a former editor of Inside Film – a trade publication focused on the business of screen production – and his first book, “Money, art and madness: How the war between bureaucrats & auteurs killed the Australian film industry” was published in 2024, where it became a best seller in Amazon’s ‘Performing Arts’ category.
