Cameron Sinclair was appointed to the role of deputy chief investment officer in August 2025. He contributes to leadership in investment strategy, asset and manager selection, portfolio construction and risk across the Funds SA portfolios. He also leads the strategic direction and oversight of Funds SA’s private markets and infrastructure investment programs.
Cameron joined Funds SA in February 2019, bringing over two decades of experience across global investment institutions, including senior roles at the Future Fund Management Agency and Macquarie Group. His expertise spans funds and direct investments in private equity, infrastructure and alternative investments, and building portfolios to deliver long-term value for institutional clients.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Cameron is passionate about innovation and secular change that impacts investment strategy, fostering long-term investment partnerships, and cross-asset class collaboration to improve investment outcomes.
