Norman Zhang was appointed CIO at legalsuper in March 2020 and is responsible for managing investments. He has more than 13 years of financial services experience. In 2018, he was winner of the Investment Rising Star Award, given by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST).
His academic qualifications include: Bachelor of Commerce – University of Melbourne;
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder – CFA Institute; Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting – Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand;
executive education program – University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, United Kingdom
Prior to his role at legalsuper, Zhang has experience in investment management and corporate finance from consulting with Ernst & Young, investment consulting with Frontier Advisors and most recently as chief investment officer with Media Super.
