Jack Purich is a Managing Director at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) currently serving in the Office of CEO, focused on total fund strategy. His regular role is within the Total Fund Management department, where he leads a team managing more than CAD$300 billion of global investments, spanning both fixed income and equity portfolios across developed and emerging markets.
Jack joined CPPIB in 2013 and in addition to portfolio management responsibilities, has led activities and initiatives related to financial crisis planning & response, capital allocation, balance-sheet management, cyber-attack readiness and geopolitical risk.
Prior to joining CPPIB, Jack held various equity trading and portfolio management roles with Deutsche Bank in Australia and the United States. He holds Bachelor degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
