Jessica Melville is head of mid risk portfolio strategy & Research at AustralianSuper.
She joined the team in April 2021 and leads the portfolio construction, research and asset allocation functions across the mid risk portfolio group that covers infrastructure, property and credit. She is responsible for the liquid portfolios in mid risk as well as the longer term development of portfolio strategy to accommodate the growth of the fund.
Prior to joining AustralianSuper, Jessica was the head of strategic advisory, investments at Willis Towers Watson based in Australia. In this capacity, Jessica advised leading asset owners around the world on investment governance and strategic matters relating to their investment models, talent capability, and alignment to business strategy.
Jessica has also had extensive experience in manager research, advising clients on manager selection and portfolio construction across a wide array of asset classes. She has previously held roles in funds management, research and stock broking.
