Josh joined CalSTRS in 2004 and is the senior portfolio manager for total fund management with responsibility for investment risk, asset allocation and balance sheet management. He was part of the investment strategy and risk team, focusing on investment risk and asset allocation, from 2013 to 2024 when that team became total fund management. Prior to that, Josh spent seven years in fixed income helping to manage securitised products portfolios.
