Maria Wilton is chair of the QIC state investment and initiatives committee and an independent director and chair of the investment committee at HESTA. She is a distinguished leader in financial services and superannuation, bringing more than 30 years of executive experience in global investment management to her roles.
Her career includes 15 years as a portfolio manager and 15 years in executive leadership, including 12 years as country head of global asset management business Franklin Templeton. This experience has built deep expertise in financial markets, institutional investment strategies and investment management governance.
In recognition of her contributions to the business and finance sectors and the community, Wilton was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2019.
