Peter van Dooijeweert joined Capstone in December 2024 as Head of Strategic Investment Partnerships. Prior to Capstone, he spent six years at Man Group as Head of Defensive and Tactical Alpha, working closely with Man’s largest clients to design customised actively managed investment portfolios and strategies. Before that, he spent over 15 years as a volatility arbitrage portfolio manager at Paloma Partners, Soros Fund Management and Tudor Investment Corporation.
Van Dooijeweert has served on investment and portfolio risk committees at Man and Paloma, bringing over 25 years of experience in derivatives and alternatives to capital allocation and firm-wide portfolio management decisions. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in equity derivatives trading in Tokyo and New York.
Van Dooijeweert holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Wake Forest University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
