Prugue is the former senior managing director and was responsible for Lazard’s Asia-Pacific operations. He began working in the investment field in 1987. Prior to joining Lazard in December 2002, he was a director and head of research with van Eyk Research. He was also previously with the National Association of Securities Dealers, AMP Society, and the New South Wales Superannuation Investment Management Corporation. Prugue is a founding member of the Sydney chapter of the CFA Institute and served as a board member of the Investment Management Consultants Association in Australia from May 2003 to December 2009. He has earned a master’s degree from Exeter University, in the UK, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in the US.
