Sam Reynolds joined Octopus UK in 2012 as head of the energy investment team in London and founded Octopus Australia in 2018.
As chief executive, Reynold’s role is to lead the Octopus Australia business and drive its mission to accelerate the renewable energy transition and create meaningful change. This change incorporates team culture, community programs and the company’s indigenous joint venture Desert Springs Octopus, which he was at the forefront of creating with First Nations community partners in 2023.
