Former Citigroup Australia Asset Management institutional marketer, Ian Weber, has landed a similar role at Axa Rosenberg in Australia.
Weber will essentially replace Nicholas Smith as the institutional face of Axa Rosenberg’s Australian business. The other Axa Rosenberg employee in Australia is Kaveh Jahrome, who runs client services. Weber was unavailable for comment. The retail distribution of Axa Rosenberg’s products will continue to be spearheaded by Equity Trustees, which last year became the responsible entity for the California-based manager’s Global Equity 130/30 Limited Shorting Strategy fund.
