The financial planning arm of diversified financial services provider Aon Australia has recruited a new head of operations.
David Plant began his tenure at Aon in late May, following his departure from Axa Australia, where he was sales and business manager. Pierre Kraft, Aon Australia managing director wealth management, financial planning and protection, said Plant was experienced in “creating business solutions for advisers and sales coaching”. He said Plant would run a programs office and steer broad business initiatives aiming to “build the advice capability back into Aon”. “We need an ‘implementor’,” Kraft said. “We need to understand how to help [advisers] become more efficient in the delivery of advice, and to match the right clients with the right adviser.”
