Today is the last day to nominate directors to the board of the new-look Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST).
Following the merger of AIST, CMSF and the IFS Training and Compliance Department under the AIST name on January 2, a new board will be elected at AIST’s first AGM on March 26, 2007. Only current AIST members are eligible for nomination. Global equities have driven most of MLC’s FY26 return so far, but its exposures to insurance-linked securities and “esoteric” credit have also put in the hard yards and helped the fund diversify beyond the AI thematic, according to chief investment officer Dan Farmer.
