QIC has beefed up its fixed interest team after the establishment of the new position, global fixed interest beta manager.
Bill Prendergast, former senior portfolio manager at AXA/AXA Rosenberg, has been appointed to the new position which will sit between the global fixed interest and strategy divisions. General manager, global fixed interest, Susan Buckley said the role will inlcude detailed research and financial modelling of beta portfolios. Prendergast’s appointment brings QIC’s fixed interest division to 21 investment professionals.
