Asset consultant Watson Wyatt is seeking to fill two newly-created senior roles.
One of the roles is for a senior client-facing consultant, the other is for a senior member of Roz Amos’ manager research team, preferably (but not necessarily) with experience in assessing fixed interest managers. A Watson Wyatt spokesperson said the consultancy would be prepared to tailor the research role to suit the skills, experience and interests of candidates. The executive searches come as Watson Wyatt Worldwide appointed Bob Charles as its new Asia-Pacific regional managing director. A two-decade veteran of Watson Wyatt, Charles had been serving in the dual roles of regional retirement practice leader for the Asia-Pacific and managing director of the firm’s Hong Kong office. He has also managed the integration of India’s largest actuarial consulting business into Watson Wyatt, and advised large private-sector retirement schemes in Asia. Charles succeeds Chuly Lee, who left Watson Wyatt at the end of September to assume a vice-chairmanship role in a large Asian conglomerate.
