Hugh Dougherty bounces back

A few months after being restructured out of InTech, Hugh Dougherty has fallen on his feet in a senior role at another consultant.

Dougherty has joined Watson Wyatt as a senior consultant in its Sydney office, joining the ‘leadership team’ where in concert with head of investment consulting Graeme Miller, he will drive innovation and client management/development. Dougherty was displaced as Intech’s chief investment officer in October, when co-founder Ron Liling sought a return to the investment frontlines of the Skandia-owned business. In other changes to the Sydney office, Ben Griffiths has been transferred to the London office while Yan Sun has been hired as a consultant.
