Sydney Uni students to get a Praemium education

University of Sydney students who are working towards funds management careers will receive complimentary access to Præmium’s portfolio administration service, V-Wrap, and market data system, p-Desktop, in a brand-conscious deal brokered by Praemium CEO, Arthur Naoumidis.

Sydney University’s School of Mathematics plans to incorporate the systems into its curriculum for Optimisation of Financial Mathematics, a core unit for the undergraduate degree in Financial Mathematics. The systems will also be used by staff from the School of Mathematics to assist in the research of the behaviour of financial markets. Naoumidis said: “;I am extremely pleased to provide Sydney University with access to Præmium’s leading edge systems as our contribution to assist in furthering the education of the next generation fund managers and stock brokers. This is a great opportunity for students to apply their knowledge of portfolio theory and get a hands-on feel for the real world.”;
