Lonsec beefs up investment consulting

Lonsec has expanded its Sydney-based team with the hire of another investment consultant.

Lukasz de Pourbaix, who joined in mid July, takes the investment consulting team to three. Amanda Gillespie, head of investment consulting, said that Lonsec had seen a large increase in demand for consulting services, as financial advisory clients wanted more specific assistance and were looking to streamline their platforms, products and models. “;By expanding our team, we plan to help our clients to use the research in a more focussed way,”; she said. Pourbaix’s previous position was research manager with the ING research group, Financial Facts, where he was responsible for managing and leading asset class reviews, implementing model portfolios, and leading a team of research analysts.
