Colonial First State (CFS) has added a former Select Asset Management BDM to its manager research relationships team.

Jonas Daly, who has worked as an institutional business development manager with alternatives boutiques Select Asset Management and Absolute Capital, last week became strategic account manager, research, with CFS, reporting to Tracy Eaton-Brown, manager, research relationships.

The role sees Daly liaise with funds manager researchers who are fielding questions about CFS products.

The Future Fund delivered a 14.8 per cent one-year return to June 30, 2026, attributing the return to a combination of exposure to commodities, geographic diversification, an increased focus on active management and low exposure to bonds. Newly minted chief investment officer Richard Brandweiner also highlighted strong performance in emerging markets.
