AMP announces CIMA scholarship winner

The winner of the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) scholarship for investment consultants has been announced by AMP Capital Investors.

Grant Atchison, a senior consultant at Atchison Consultants, was awarded the annual scholarship, worth $6000, which helps to fund tuition in a training program for investment consultants working in the institutional market.

Atchison joined Atchison Consultants in August 2005 with more than 10 years of direct property experience. He has worked at Lend Lease in Australia and more recently at AIM-listed property group ISG in the

UK.

AMP Capital Investors acting head of institutional business, John Meagher, said the scholarship would be a great opportunity for

Atchison to build on his “already impressive” career.

“The CIMA program strikes the right balance between relevant investment consulting theory and practice,” he said.

The CIMA program is delivered by UTS’ school of finance and economics, and industry experts, and is open to IMCA members or non-members who have at least three years of investment experience.
