Investment big guns talk about trust

Roger UrwinRoger Urwin, global head of investment content at Towers Watson, and Mark Lazberger, chief executive of Colonial First State Global Asset Management, will be addressing the issues surrounding trust, from both an investment and a member perspective, at the Fund Executives Association Ltd (FEAL) forum this month.

The one-day FEAL executive forum, being held at the Melbourne Business School in Carlton on February 25, is open to chief executives of funds and their direct reports. About 100 delegates are expected to the event, which is preceded by a member dinner and afternoon discussion with regulators.

London-based Urwin will draw on behavioural economics to lead a discussion on what it will take to build and sustain trust in the pensions industry.

Lazberger, together with David Coogan of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Terry McCredden of UniSuper, will discuss ways to improve the relationships between fund, members and service providers.

Other sessions at the forum include how to build and maintain an executive team and how to turn members into “fund promoters”.
