Partners Group headhunts for consultants gig…again

The local arm of Partners Group has renewed its search for a head of consultant relations after the manager’s head office in Switzerland rejected two shortlisted candidates.

Martin Scott, head of the domestic office for Partners Group, has resumed the search a manager of consultant relations in Asia after the company’s head office in Baar-Zug sent both shortlisted candidates back to Australia without a job offer.

Scott said the role, originally based in Sydney, could also be run out of Partners Group’s Singapore office. However, since many global asset consultants, such as Towers Watson and Mercer, ran their major Asia offices in Sydney, it would be more appropriate for the new recruit to be based at the manager’s office on 50 Bridge St, he said.

All shortlisted candidates for positions with Partners Group undergo extensive interviews at the manager’s head office. If accepted, they are put through a six-month training program at various Partners Group offices worldwide.
