Denise Hartman, Learning and Development Manager, BNP Paribas Securities Services

Denise Hartman joined BNP Paribas in 2004 as learning and development manager and is currently chair of the ACSA (Australian Custodial Services Association) training working group which manages the Custodial Services Accreditation Program.

Denise has over 20 years experience as a learning and development expert with specialist knowledge in strategic HR training and development for financial services organisations as well as behavioural based training. In her current role Denise is responsible for the strategic direction of learning and development as well as the design and rollout of various programs including leadership development for executive and senior managers, performance management, recruitment, retention and coaching. Before this, Denise has held roles as head of learning and development at Rothschild Australia and Westpac Institutional Bank.

Denise holds a Masters of Training & Development,University of New England, Armidale.


Geoff Hodge, Chief Executive Officer, Milestone Group

Geoff Hodge has over 20 years experience, in the management and development of operations and technology for financial markets businesses.

Before founding Milestone Group in 1998, Geoff was a director and board member of Rothschild Australia Asset Management.

From 1989 to 1996 Geoff held senior positions in National Westminster Bank PLC in Sydney, Tokyo and London. His last role with NatWest was as an executive director of NatWest Capital Markets, based in London, with responsibility for global business operations.

Before joining County NatWest, Geoff worked in senior management roles with Chase AMP Bank (now JPMorgan Chase) and ANZ Banking Group covering custody, payments and retail banking operations.
