Pengana snaps up former MIR operations chief

Boutique funds manager Pengana Capital has appointed the former chief operating officer of MIR Investment Management to a role supporting director and COO Katrina Glendinning.

After leaving MIR in 2009, Zarmeen Pavri found work as an operations consultant to Pengana. But the manager recently brought her in-house as a business manager to assist Glendinning oversee backoffice outsourcing arrangements and “special projects”, confirmed Russel Pillemer, chief executive of Pengana.

The manager outsources trust administration and unit pricing for its locally domiciled products to BNP Paribas Securities Services.

Meanwhile, MIR appointed Armik Ayoubdel in 2009 to replace Pavri as COO.
