Perpetual chief-in-waiting talks Asian opportunity

Soon to be chief executive of Perpetual Investments, Chris Ryan will share with the upcoming Investment Administration conference some of his secrets for success in the tough Asian funds management marketplaces.

After 27 years in Asia, during which he has lead the regional asset management businesses of HSBC, ING and Fidelity International, Ryan is due to take the reins at Perpetual on February 14.

The next day, he will address the annual Investment Administration Conference, the official get-together of the Australian Custodial Services Association, on how Australian funds managers can best target their product to the Asian region.
