But they all share a fascination of companies. Taylor himself travels out of Sydney to meet executives and view a company’s operations once every week and a half. He’s also travelling internationally trying to find out how decisions made by companies offshore will affect a coal miner in Queensland or an iron ore producer in Western Australia.

“The more people we’re meeting the better we’re doing,” says Taylor, his food neglected after an hour and a half of conversation.

Then he left for another meeting.
