As the final quarter of the financial year approaches, super funds have the potential to see a double-digit return in the balanced options, as the median fund delivered 8.8 for the first nine months of FY24, according to SuperRatings.
The median balanced option generated a return of 1.9 per cent for March. The median growth option gained an estimated 2.3 per cent for the month, while the median capital stable option also rose by an estimated 1.1 per cent.
Pension returns also grew over the month, with the median balanced pension option increasing by an estimated 2.2 per cent. The median capital stable pension option is estimated to have grown by 1.2 per cent over the month while the median growth pension option is estimated to increase by 2.6 per cent for the same period.
