Bonhote to turn fund sales skills to custody

Michael Bonhote, a former head of product and marketing at Intech and Deutsche Asset Management, will resurface at a custodian in August.

After leaving Intech following its acquisition by Skandia late last year, it is understood Bonhote will become head of sales for RBC Dexia Investor Services (RBC IS). The current head of sales and relationship management for RBC IS Australia, Englishwoman Kate Homewood, confirmed Bonhote had been hired and that her own role would “;change”;, but declined to elaborate at this stage. Bonhote won’t be the only custodian sales executive to be starting in August – BNP Paribas Securities Services is exporting Ken Shaw from its London office to take over from Chris Briant as head of sales and relationship management that month. It is understood Bonhote has been taking a break for six months.
