Van Eyk’s head of funds manager research, Jerome Lander, will follow Suzanne Tavill out of the firm after resigning last week.
Lander and Tavill were co-heads of research through most of last year, before Tavill departed in December for a portfolio management role at AMP Capital Investors. Lander would not comment on his position, while van Eyk director Mark Thomas was unavailable for comment. Meanwhile, van Eyk is in the process of extending the research responsibilities it outsources to AdviserEdge to include structured products. It is understood AdviserEdge has already hired a couple of structured products specialists, to add to the agribusiness and property sectors it covers for van Eyk. The firm previously took its structured products advice from Aegis.
