HESTA finds new investment analyst

The $13 billion HESTA industry fund has found a new investments analyst following the departure of Beth Bisso in February.

James Harman has joined the fund from Warakirri Asset Management. where he was also an analyst.  Warakirri is one of HESTA’s Australian equity managers.

HESTA’s head of investments and corporate governance, Rob Fowler, could not be reached before presstime to clarify whether Harman was a direct replacement for Bisso.

Her departure had taken HESTA’s investment team temporarily down to three-and-a-half people.

Bisso had joined HESTA in May 2006 as an investments analyst, responsible for HESTA’s fund manager relationships in listed equities and absolute return strategies.

HESTA has recently advertised for a senior analyst with private equity skills.
