Bravura behind Russell

Global transfer agency and wealth-management software provider Bravura has announced that asset consultant Russell Investments will use its Sonata software solution on its new retail wrap offering.

The global asset consultant recently launched its Russell iQ suite into the retail wrap market, with the platform allowing retail clients and advisers to invest directly in Russell’s funds in a similar way to institutional investors.

Bravura has worked with Russell for the past 15 years and its Sonata software will offer in-depth online dashboards for reporting and administration features to help advisors manage client accounts.

Sonata is Bravura’s wealth-management application suite for investment and policy administration.

It is a solution that is aimed at life insurance, trusts, pensions, superannuation and wrap products.

Bravura’s head of professional services, Jon Alder, says this latest project demonstrates the variety of solutions the Sonata suite of applications can provide the retail wrap market.

“This project showcases the strength of Sonata from an investment-wrap perspective, through the provision of in-depth investor reporting, straight-through processing and compliance with Australian tax regulations,” Alder says.

Head of private markets Marina Pasika unpacks the program’s coming of age and what powered an asset class return more than double the peer average in the last financial year.
