Energy Super has announced the appointment of Investment Manager Daniel Judd and Key Member Relationships Manager Andrew Russell-Clarke.

With more than seven years’ experience in investment management and research, Daniel Judd has held a range of diverse positions including analytical roles with a North American fund manager and another Australian superannuation fund.  He has also been an economist with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs.

Andrew Russell-Clarke has 12 years experience including online broking at ANZ Bank, margin lending at Adelaide Bank and financial planning research at AMP, Ord Minnett and National Australia Bank.

 

Josh Barton has joined the MFS Australian team as Director of Institutional Sales.

Barton will focus on relationship management and sales in Australia and New Zealand for MFS Institutional Advisors, the global institutional asset management business of MFS. He is based in Melbourne.

Barton spent the last 10 years with Blackrock where he was a Director and Senior Account Manager within the Global Client Group.

 

Camilla Von Pfyffer has been appointed Business Consultant for MLC Accountant Solutions, based in Queensland.

She will work with accountants to help them deliver financial advice to clients through the MLC licensing solution, the referral partnership with the Institute of Public Accountants and through MLC’s education solutions. Von Pfyffer will also work with aligned advisers to support the development of their relationships with accounting firms.

She was most recently a business development manager (BDM) for CPA Australia, spending two and a half years with the accountancy body.

 

Investment management solutions provider SimCorp has appointed Glenn Stafford to head sales in Australia and New Zealand.

Stafford joins SimCorp with more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector having held several roles as director of professional services as well as managed product and sales teams for global top 20 consulting and software companies.

Prior to joining SimCorp Stafford worked for Transaction Network Services where he was Strategic Accounts Director with responsibility for the formulation and execution of the direct to bank strategy in Australia.

 

International private equity and infrastructure funds manager Quay Partners, which is active in Australia, has announced the appointment of Angus Whiteley to the position of Group CEO, based in London.

Whiteley comes from a private equity direct investment background having spent the past 12 years in private equity and venture capital. He is a law graduate of Cambridge University.

Whiteley’s appointment follows a range of expansion initiatives by Quay Partners in the private equity and infrastructure fields over the past 3 months, with new hires in its London, Sydney, San Francisco and Boston offices.
