UniSuper’s Kevin O’Sullivan has leapt to the top the leaderboard for the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic (MDC) Boardroom Challenge raising more than $9,000 in 11 days.

With two days left to go before the event, the leaderboard could still all change.

They will be joining about 130,000 Australians this weekend, taking part in the MDC breast cancer research walk and run, which will be held in 104 locations around Australia including every capital city.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women (1% of breast cancer is in men). On average, 40 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each day.

Research has played a major part in breast cancer 5 year survival rates increasing to 89% since the MDC began in 1998, with the event donating $24.3 million to National Breast Cancer Foundation.
