Ex-BT investments head pops up at IXIS

IXIS Asset Management Australia has appointed Deborah Alliston as investment director, two months after her position running balanced funds at BT Financial Group was made redundant.

Managing director of IXIS Australia, Karyn West, said the newly created role would use Alliston’s technical expertise and experience in portfolio construction, garnered from 20 years in the funds management industry. Alliston will be responsible for developing strategies for clients around IXIS Australia’s affiliate boutique managers, including Loomis Sayles, Harris Associates and Harris Alternatives.
