Solaris and Tyndall confirm new marketers

Former marketing manager at Suncorp Investment Management, Katherine Youhanna, yesterday confirmed she will join her ex-Suncorp colleagues at Solaris, while Suncorp/Tyndall announced its own new head of marketing.

Youhanna will fill the role of marketing and client services consultant, reporting to managing director Denis Donohue. Pleased with receiving Youhanna’s confirmation at lunchtime yesterday, Donohue said he hoped she would start by early April. Youhanna left Suncorp/Tyndall in February. The new head of marketing, announced yesterday, will be Joanne Morgan. Morgan’s most recent role was with Perpetual, where she was senior manager of channel strategy. Morgan has 11 years experience in financial services roles with prior employers GIO Australia, ANZ Investments, and AMP financial planning. Brett Himbury, managing director of Suncorp/Tyndall said: “we have taken our time in finding the right person for this role to ensure we recruited someone who not only had the essential skills and experience to drive our marketing efforts, but could also strengthen our team.”
