The former head of UBS Global Asset Management’s Sydney trading desk, made redundant after Australian equities trading was shifted to Singapore last year, will run Integrity Investment Management’s desk.
Janet Montagu will join Paul Fiani’s Australian equities boutique as head of equity trading on April 2. She will work with another former UBS GAM colleague, chief operating officer Karen Thompson, on trading and implementation of client portfolios. Fiani said of Montagu’s eight-year UBS GAM experience: “;She was responsible for a three person trading team which traded across multiple models and products for over $12 billion in FUM. Her performance during this time was regularly measured against other trading desks and was consistently outstanding.”;
