Financial services marketing company Evolution Media will this week launch a web-based business news and information service for investors – evoTV.
The service is an online television platform which has seven channels of finance content targeting both investment profesionals, particularly financial planners, as well as informed consumers. evoTV incorporates a previous program launched by Evolution Media in 2006 called the Mastermind Series, which had initially been delivered online by Rainmaker Information. Evolution Media and Rainmaker parted company early this year. Vanessa Stoykov, chief executive of Evolution Media, said that evoTV had been resourced with its own dedicated staff who will be operating separately from the company’s agency business. Antony Perring is responsible for content and production and Elizabeth Henry is responsible for advertising and sponsorship. Professional Planner journalists Simon Hoyle and Kristen Paech are featured on one of the evoTV channels about financial planning. Professional Planner, which is owned by Conexus Financial alongside I&T News, is assisting to promote evoTV. To view the channels, go to www.evoTV.com.au
